Billing & Invoices

The billing module streamlines your financial workflow. Create invoices for consultations, procedures, lab tests, and pharmacy purchases. Accept multiple payment methods and generate professional receipts.

Creating a Bill

Click "+ New Bill" and select the patient. Add line items — consultation fee, procedures, medications, or lab tests. Prices are auto-filled from your configuration but can be adjusted per bill.

Bills can also be auto-generated when a consultation is completed or a prescription is dispensed

Accepting Payment

Click "Collect Payment" and choose the method: Cash, UPI, Card, Net Banking, or split across multiple methods. Partial payments are supported — the remaining balance is tracked.

UPI payment verification can be done by entering the transaction reference number

Receipts & Printing

After payment, a receipt is generated automatically. Print it directly or send a digital copy to the patient via WhatsApp. Receipts include your clinic branding, GST details (if configured), and payment breakdown.

Supports both A4 and thermal printer formats — configure in Settings → Billing

Outstanding & Overdue

View all unpaid and partially paid bills in the "Outstanding" tab. Send payment reminders via WhatsApp with one click. Overdue bills are flagged for follow-up.

Export outstanding reports for your accountant in CSV or PDF format

Important

Once a bill is finalized and payment is recorded, it cannot be deleted — only credited. Issue a credit note for refunds or adjustments.

  • Set up GST configuration early for compliant invoicing from day one
  • Use discount codes for promotions or loyalty programs
  • Review the daily collection report before closing to reconcile cash
