Prescriptions

Last updated: March 10, 2026

Healthcare with AI's prescription module lets doctors create prescriptions via voice dictation or manual entry. Prescriptions are automatically formatted, linked to the patient record, and can be sent directly to the patient or pharmacy.

1

Voice Rx (Voice Prescription)

Click the microphone icon on the prescription page and speak naturally. Say the diagnosis, medications, dosage, and instructions. The AI transcribes and structures your dictation into a formatted prescription.

Voice Rx supports Hindi, English, and Hinglish — speak in whichever language is natural
2

Manual Prescription

Click "+ New Prescription" and fill in the fields: diagnosis, symptoms, medications (with smart autocomplete from your drug database), dosage, frequency, and duration. Add notes for the patient if needed.

The drug database autocompletes brand names, generics, and common dosages
3

Edit & Review

After creating (via voice or manual), review the prescription in the preview pane. Click any field to edit. The system warns about drug interactions and allergy conflicts automatically.

Allergy warnings appear in red if the prescribed drug conflicts with the patient's recorded allergies
4

Send to Patient & Pharmacy

Click "Send" to deliver the prescription PDF to the patient via WhatsApp. You can also forward it to a connected pharmacy for fulfillment, or print a physical copy.

The pharmacy receives the order and can prepare medications before the patient arrives

Important

Always review Voice Rx output before sending. While AI transcription is highly accurate, medical prescriptions require human verification for patient safety.

Tips

  • Create prescription templates for commonly prescribed medication combos
